January Volunteering Day

Kick off all those new years resolutions with Oasis Farm Waterloo’s first volunteering day of the year on the 8th of January 2022 (11.00am- 3.00pm). Bring along your beanie, warm gloves and maybe your best mate and get stuck into to the farm.

We are continuing to operate our COVID aware model of volunteer days so please make sure you read the information below before you sign up.

We’ll be getting the garden ready for spring, shoring up garden beds and checking on all our tasty winter greens.

We have a limited capacity for volunteers at these days, so you’ll need to register here for a place.

Halloween Family Fun Day

It’s the most spookiest time of the year! On Sunday the 31st October Oasis Farm will be open from 2.30 -5.30pm for our regular animal visiting and garden exploring plus some spooky fun!

Halloween bingo will kick off from 3.30pm, and we’ll have tasty hot dogs for sale. Come in your best costume and see how many creepy-crawlies you can find!

No need to book a place, just turn up and join in.

November Volunteer Day

Oasis Farm Waterloo will be opening it’s gates on the 6th of November 2021 (11.00am- 3.00pm) for our next open volunteering day. We are continuing to operate our COVID secure model of volunteer days while cases are high in London so please make sure you read the information below before you sign up.

There’s a bunch of work to do on the farm now the weather has turned. Come down with your favourite beanie on and help us harvest, plant winter greens and turn that never ending compost pile!

September Volunteer Day

Oasis Farm Waterloo will be opening it’s gates on the 4th of September 2021 (11.00am- 3.00pm) for our open volunteering day. We’ve had a bumper Summer so now is the time to get harvesting! We’ve also got a bit of cleaning and sorting to get done after all our Summer Programmes. Bring your own hat, raincoat, sunglasses (we never know what we’ll get) and lunch. We’ve got wellies, gloves and overalls we can lend if you need them!

Poetics_ Open Mic Night

After the creation of workshops for young adults and teenager with difficulties the Poetics_ team are bringing their open mic night to the beautiful Oasis barn! Join us to watch the workshop participants and artists perform on stage. There will be a few places for on the night sign ups if you’ve something of your own you’d like to read as well.

July Family Day on the Farm

Oasis Farm Waterloo is very excited to throw open our gates for another Farm Family Day!We’re continuing to run these in our adapted COVID-safe way, but the core will be the same as always; we’re inviting you to come and explore our little ‘oasis’ of a farm.

We’ll be open on Sunday the 18th July from 1pm – 4pm for families (whether or not they include children, or even if they’re the kind of family that you get to choose) and each group will be asked to book a slot here: tinyurl.com/FarmFamilyDay

We’ll come back to you to confirm your spot within a week. Within your hour you’ll be able to visit with the animals, explore the farm and get involved with some craft.

Mud Gang Pottery: Discovery Weekend!

Mud Gang Pottery CIC and Oasis Farm Waterloo are excited to invite you to our makers market and open pottery studio sale on the 21st and 22nd of August 2021!

The Discovery Weekend will be hosted across the barn and our studio at Old Paradise Yard – you can come and say hello to the sheep, goats, guinea pigs, chickens and bunnies!!We will run some free clay activities and demos – including a collective sculpture, seed ball making and wheel throwing demonstrations – everyone is welcome to join, whatever age or experience!

There’ll be plenty to get involved in and independent makers’ work to purchase. There will be refreshments for sale at the event too. We would love for you to come and tell all of your friends and family!

No booking required, just pop by!

June Family Day

Supper Club at the Barn

Oasis Farm Waterloo and London Basque Kitchen are excited to invite you to their Summer Supper Club!

On the 18th & 19th of June we’ll be serving up a fish and seafood feast (vegan options available), in the beautiful surrounds of Oasis Farm Waterloo, one of Lambeth’s best hidden venues.

Your ticket will include your six dish supper, a welcome drink, and marshmallows to toast around the fire pit as the sun goes down.

Read on below for our menu and for some sneak peak photos. Profit raised from this event will go to support Oasis Farm’s ongoing work in the community.


About the Chef:

Monica Gil Ruiz is a Spanish Londoner. She was born in Bilbao and was brought up by her grandparents in a very foodie family in Trespaderne, a small village in the North of Spain. It was her grandmother who inspired her love for good food and cooking.

Monica has worked in some of the top restaurants in the UK, taught cookery classes and has in the last year set up London Kitchen Deliveries (together with Ginger Jar Food) bringing delicious restaurant quality dining into people’s homes during Covid.

She has embraced the demand for creative Spanish/Basque inspired cuisine married with amazing British seasonal produce and traditions. Monica now runs, LBK a creative and bespoke catering company delivering beautifully presented, uncomplicated, flavoursome food and unique experiences across London. To celebrate the easing of Lockdown Monica is throwing a feast with some of her favourite dishes!
