We are looking for some volunteers to help keep our farm animals, flowers and vegetables happy and healthy, and help us carry on doing our amazing work with young people.
If you like the outdoors, working with animals, plants or young people we’d love to welcome you to our team!
Drop into our first Saturday volunteering day of the year, and work up a sweat turning compost, cleaning our buildings and mucking out animals. Lunch provided, no need to book. Bring a warm coat, your favourite wellies (or borrow some of ours), your best mate or your Mum and join us from 11am – 3pm on Saturday the 2nd of February.
Oasis Farm Waterloo is kicking off the Christmas Season with our annual Christmas Fair. On the 1st of December from midday until 6pm we’ll be hosting a craft and produce market selling goodies, as well as a santa’s grotto, carolling, music, craft activities for young ones and grown up ones and delicious hot and cold beverages and food stalls.
The event will be family friendly, and will give everyone a chance to explore the farm and meet our animals as well as celebrating the most wonderful time of the year!

Barbecue and jazz at The Farm
Tucked away behind St Thomas’ Hospital, this tranquil green space accommodates a range of farm animals, food growing areas, a barn and an open kitchen. Enjoy a summer evening relaxing in our urban haven with wonderful live jazz, great food and a few drinks – for all ages.

the Feel Good PRIDE Sessions – A Celebration Through Song
From Diana Ross, Chaka Khan and George Michael to Lady Gaga, RuPaul and the Spice Girls- join singers from the Independent Musicians’ Collective on a musical journey through funk, soul, pop, disco and house classics that have helped shape the Pride movement over the past forty years.
All ages welcome. 7pm (doors at 6pm).

The Young Farmers Project is an opportunity for young people ages 11-14 from the local area to explore farming and wellbeing. Sessions will include farming jobs, cooking and self-reflection and are about giving children the time and space to reflect, renew and determine a new path for themselves. We do this by creating an environment where they feel respected, and are given opportunities to display their talents and show responsibility.Building confidence and self-esteem for children 11-14 year old.
Oasis Farm Waterloo works in partnership with Jamie’s Farm. Jamie’s Farm exists to transform the lives of vulnerable children in challenging urban schools by providing a unique combination of ‘farming, family and therapy’ through a short-stay residential and follow-up programmes. The charity aims to re-engage children with educational life, enabling them to fulfil their potential both in their school and community, and has worked with over 2,000 vulnerable young people primarily from disadvantaged communities of London.
The club will run for 12 sessions starting June 20th 2018. We’ll be planting, cooking, mucking-out, making and more.

This three hour course in casting will enable participants to learn the basics of how to cast and decorate their own hands. Mod-rock is a diverse material that can be left with different finishes, textures and structures. Casting is a simple and creative exercise that is playful for people of all ages. It is also a great framework for moving onto more complex sculpting. Enjoying an afternoon at Oasis Farm, Hannah your tutor will guide you through the different steps of making and decorating your hand. So come along and join the fun, in a relaxing and inviting city escape.
Please wear comfortable clothing that can get a little messy and sleeves that can be rolled up!
Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

For one night only stars of the West End and UK Theatre are getting together to give you a whirlwind tour of the very best of Broadway Musicals from Rodgers & Hammerstein to Pasek & Paul and Sondheim to Jason Robert Brown, all to raise money for Oasis Farm Waterloo to help with their vital outreach work within the community.
