Women Who Rise: Poetry Workshop

Oasis Farm Waterloo is proud to be hosting Felicia Cade & Mary Mae with their first 5 week poetry Workshop on the Farm.

“My purpose for this workshop is to help you find your truth. To gently pull you out of your comfort zone and deeper into you. What makes this workshop different is that although we will go over styles and formats it is tailored to pull out what is already present more so than cramming in information. By the end of this workshop, you will have begun the journey into finding your truth and you will have the confidence to share it.” – Felicia Cade

August Volunteer Day

Oasis Farm Waterloo needs you! August is a busy time, there’s things to pick, things to plant and ALWAYS things to water! So you’re invited to join the team on August 3rd, from 11am to 3pm.

We are an urban farm and community resource in Waterloo, a hidden gem just moments from the Southbank. Since 2015, we have been transforming a derelict wasteland into a beautiful, thriving space that works to transform children’s lives through farming, family and therapy.

We are looking for some volunteers to help keep our farm animals, flowers and vegetables happy and healthy, and help us carry on doing our amazing work with young people. If you like the outdoors, working with animals, plants or young people we’d love to welcome you to our team!

Drop into one of our monthly Saturday volunteering days, and work up a sweat turning compost, cleaning our buildings and mucking out animals. Lunch provided, no need to book. New & experienced volunteers welcome, 80% chance of piglets.
