January Deep Clean and Dig Volunteer Day 07.01.2017

Our winter kale showing resilience during the frost

You’ve eaten all the mince pies and finished the Christmas spirits, and now you’re looking for a way to give back and get involved in a meaningful local project?

What better time, then, than to join us for our first volunteer day of 2017 as we scrub up the farm and welcome our new animals to SE1 from Jamie’s Farm in Wiltshire. There are beds to be dug and compost to be made, as well as tidying and giving everything a spring clean in deep mid-winter.

We’ll also be offering an induction to new volunteers who would like to sign up for our regular feeding rounds on the farm, as well as a refresher for seasoned volunteers.

  • Time: 10am – 4pm
  • Date: Saturday 7th January 2017
  • Place: Oasis Farm Waterloo, 18 Carlisle Lane, Waterloo SE1 7LG
  • Contact: Farmer Tim on 07747 278101 or farm@oasiswaterloo.org

A light and wholesome lunch will be provided for all volunteers. We can lend you overalls, wellies and gloves if you need them. No need to sign-up, just turn up on the day.
