Our next open volunteering session will be on Saturday 3rd December, 10.30am – 5pm. It’s a bit of a different vibe this month as we’re getting set up for our Christmas Fayre that afternoon. There’ll be some of the usual farming tasks to do but also lots of jobs setting up tables and decorating everything. The last half of the day will be supporting the Fayre itself but you’re welcome just to come for set up or sleep in and just come to help at the Fayre.
Volunteer jobs at the Fayre will include, helping visitors meet and learn about the animals, keeping the firepit going (and safe), helping on the bar or the door or supporting Luke with the running of the best baked potato stand in Lambeth!
We’ll hand out jobs on the day depending on interest and ability. There will be time to meet the animals and a festive warm drink for everyone at the end.Under 18s must be accompanied by an adult. No prior skills required, we’ll even lend you some wellies.
We have a limited capacity for volunteers at these days, so you’ll need to register here:
We’ll then confirm the place and send you some details on our COVID aware measures. If you have any questions please email us at farm@oasiswaterloo.org.
